As part of a Christmas gift, my Cousin Flo asked me to put together a few paragraphs that chronicle the time I spent with her brother Bruce back when we were kids.

This is just a bunch of random things that I have written that I thought might be of interest to somebody. You aren’t going to find anything here that will change your life. No great undiscovered universal truths. Not even close.

My nephew Erik sent me a CD with all sorts of cool music that he thought I was cool enough to enjoy. I was. So, I reciprocated. Here is a list that gives you an idea of where my musical tastes lie. Read it, and then check out the tunes.

As part of the silliness surrounding Sarabeth’s bridal shower, a request was made for a list of tips and suggestions on how to insure a long and successful marriage. Being an expert, I felt it was my duty to contribute.

I used to be the Chairman of Stewardship and Finance at our church. Once a year I would stand before the congregation and ask for pledges. It varied each year, but this is basically what I said.

I was the captain of many USTA tennis teams. I had to form the team, set up the line-up and schedule the players for each match. I would send out an email each week with a review of the previous match and the info for the next. It got to be a mini-Christmas letter each week that I sent to over 50 tennis friends.
